This role involves the development of water Flow Regulators from their conception to release. This requires a wide range of skills including, Rapid prototyping, Testing, and the design of Injection Moulding Tools. Alongside this there is a consistent emphasis on high Quality Standards with tolerance bands being as little as ±0.1mm. Throughout this release process I liaise with customers giving them regular updates on the progress of their projects. This requires very high levels of organisation as I can often have multiple projects on at any one time.

When I was at Waitrose I helped in the day to day running of the store, working on reductions, stock replenishment and tills. A large amount of attention to detail is required to fulfill this role as well as being able to work quickly and thoroughly.

Research for International Car Parts Industries- the remanufacture of BMW Active Steering systems. This required me to write in-depth technical reports on the subject as well as present my progress on a regular basis. There was a large portion of practical work involved in this project as well as it requires me to fully disassemble and understand every element of one of these systems.

This job has given me a very real sense of a high pressure working environment but there are also target oriented goals which means I always have something to work towards. At Starbucks there is also a lot of responsibility and trust placed in you as an employee as you are often left to finish tasks without supervision and often be left to run the shopfront single-handedly all of this to a tight schedule.
