I have two years as a research assistant at the University of California, Berkeley where I received my B.A. in Psychology. From there I was hired as an indoor skydiving instructor, which allowed me to practice public speaking and coaching skills while working with people of all ages. After that I joined the United States Navy where I spent 2 1/2 years as a Naval Officer working in Flight School and received a security clearance that is valid until 2023. After leaving the Navy I returned to indoor skydiving before I was picked up by Thermaxx Jackets where I sold high quality commercial insulation to save businesses on their energy costs. This sales position put me into hospitals where I realized that I would prefer to work with patients and learn more about medicine, so I left Thermaxx to pursue my education in medicine. With my time as a coach in iFly, the discipline I received from the Navy, and the industry experience I gained from my sales position at Thermaxx, I now run my own coaching business where I develop lesson plans and facilitate experiences geared towards body flight and breath-work.
