Working in the environmental regulation function of Irish Water, whose key responsibility is the interacting with key stakeholders to influence environmental regulation and legislation that affect Irish Water. It is also the function responsible for ensuring that Irish Water develops its plans and programs to meet National and European regulatory expectations with regards to environmental standards and compliance. My key task was to compose an annual environmental report containing all the waste water treatment plants within Ireland. By reporting and analyzing any non-complaint information, the end goal was to develop a database that could be used by the entire company and this would allow other functions ease of access when looking for information contained in these environmental reports. Other duties included mapping boundaries for waste water treatment systems using software such as the CEO SAPMAP viewer, as well as learning about the other functions of the business such as the HR function and giving views and ideas on the Customer Application Campaign.
