- Supervise a team of 15 cable technicians working on High Voltage Mining Cables.- Liaise with customers to meet their deadlines & specific job requirements including coordinating on site work. - Ensure jobs are completed safely & on time & on budget.- Manage indirect costs.- Coordinate training both formal & informal "on the job training"-Conduct & lead daily toolbox talks, monthly safety & communications meeting and OHS meetings.- Maintain a safe work environment through on the job safety observations & informal supervision of the workshop floor - Manage the recruitment & disciplinary requirements of the workshop.

My duties as the Site Service Supervisor were as follows: Job Management-Supervise the employees in the site services division which at its peak consisted of 28 technicians, 4 laboratory staff & 4 admin/office staff.- Supervise sub contractors employed by Rutherford Power.-Make contact with new & existing customers to develop a relationship with the customers.-Conduct site visits -Formulate quotes & tenders for varying maintenance & installation projects ranging from small maintenance jobs up to full High Voltage Switchyard builds.-Conduct tender reviews to ensure the quotes/tenders are accurate.-Follow up the submitted quotes/tenders with the customers.-Once the quotes/tenders were successful set up job scopes, plan out manning & equipment for the jobs.-Monitor ongoing costs as the jobs progress to ensure the jobs are running to budget.-At completion of the jobs review costs and formulate any applicable variations.-Review any test reports and forward through to the customer.-Check invoicing to ensure it is correct and forwarded to the customer in a timely manner. -Carry out weekly WIP (work in progress) reviews Oil Testing Laboratory Management-Liaise with customers to collect transformer oil samples.-Ensure samples are processed through the lab in a timely manner.-Review the oil analysis reports and make recommendations to customers to rectify any issues.-Manage the lab employees including addressing any issues that arise in the day to day running of the lab, carry out performance reviews on the lab employees.Site Service Crew Management -Manage the day to day running of the site crew to minimize indirect costs. -Conduct recruitment interviews.-Manage disciplinary issues.-Carry out in house training courses.
