People will forget what you said and people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel. I’m all about making genuine connections with people and a lot of them occur over malt and beer. My role involves promoting Canadian malt barley by evaluating quality and carrying out technical processes through our pilot malt house and pilot brewery and relaying that information to the industry, our members, clients and end users. Having the opportunity to be a regular presenter at our Malt Academy allows me to connect with those looking to a part of the growing craft malting industry. If you want to learn everything about barley, malting and malting technologies, this is where I come in. Together, we will look into the importance of quality, processing, equipment and of course getting our hands dirty with malt barley!I’ll be first to admit that I don’t have the answers to everything, one can only hope, however, I can point you towards someone who does.
