As A Payroll Officer, I manage a payroll with over 1000 relief workers with the assistance of 2 time sheet administrators Duties include:• Processing up to 600 timesheets weekly• Calculating staff holiday entitlement, SSP and SMP• Processing new starters and leaver on the payroll system • Maintaining staff information on payroll system (Personal Details, Tax codes, Student loans)• Crosschecking payroll before submission • Processing monthly PAYE• Weekly management of RTI submissions• Company pension scheme administration• Communicating with sales department regarding relief workers houly rates• Issuing written cheques to relief workers• Reconciliation of timesheets with invoices• Creating bank letters and producing statement of earnings • P60 requests, court orders and assisting HMRC in any relief workers fraud investigations• Resolving all payroll queries

• Managing a desk of 23 clients generating a turnover of up to £31,000.00 per week• Cold calling potential new clients and exceeding weekly targets • Placing staff in both temporary and permanent placements• Advertising vacancies using different forms of advertising and media• Using candidate database skills and job profiled to match all specific job spec requests • Liaising with clients to gather job specification and skill requirements • Working and achieving commission and placement targets working under stressful circumstances
