I am a member of the team of consultants with Craigmyle, the longest established firm of fundraising consultants in the UK with a strongly vocational approach to its work with charities. Our ethos is based on honesty, transparency and integrity and since its foundation by Lord Craigmyle in 1959 Craigmyle consultants have always put relationships with clients and donors at the very centre of their approach. We have specialists in all areas of fundraising - including heritage, the arts, ecclesiastical, community, education, health, and we encompass the full range of services from capacity building and organisational development to full service capital campaigns and creating sustainable fundraising income.I have over 26 years’ experience as a seasoned and successful fundraiser and charity leader. With a wide range of fundraising skills and experiences, specialising in Trusts and Foundations and the Lottery; as well as corporate fundraising, sponsorship, community fundraising, government (central and local – contracts and grants), major donors, individual giving, online fundraising and match giving campaigns e.g. the Big Give.In addition to fundraising, I've spent the last 17 years in senior leadership roles as CEO, Chair of Trustees and Trustee, for small and local charities (some start-ups and some well-established). My experience includes strategic development, project management, partnerships, trustee governance and leadership development, as well as feasibility studies, case development, bid writing, training and seminars. Please get in touch to have a chat about how I can best support you with your fundraising.

Chief Executive

Battersea, London

Led a much-loved, busy charity for the last 10 years. We run community services that support local children, young people and their families, adults, women and refugee communities. We also campaign for social change. And support other charities to start-up and thrive. This enables us to build stronger communities, tackle poverty and reduce isolation in Battersea, south London. We are supported by a network of 60 partners. During my time I've tripled the number of members we work with (5% of local population); increased the income by 250% (to £1.1m 2022/23); grown our unrestricted reserves to 4.5 months; increased our cash position to the equivalent of 10 months running costs; and grown our staff (46) and volunteer (200) team considerably.
