I worked on the Mapping Rome Project, a collaboration among Stanford University, Dartmouth College and The University of Oregon. Using Adobe Illustrator, I assisted in the digitization of plates from the Forma Urbis Romae, a multi-layered digital map of all the ancient ruins of map as of 1901. Additionally, I initiated the process of designing and carrying out an independent project integrating relevant entries from the Corpus Inscriptionum Latinarum into the digital map.

I served as the Teaching Assistant under Professor Pramit Chaudhuri in the Dartmouth College Classics Department Introduction to Classical Mythology summer course (CLST 4). My duties included researching and writing exam and quiz questions, meeting with students to discuss course responsibilities, assignments, review papers for submission, proctoring exams and quizzes, advising in structuring the course, including work on the syllabus and prompts, as well as organizing and leading study sessions before important exams.

I worked directly under the NEH Chief of Staff Courtney Chapin and her assistant, Caitlin Green, independently and collaboratively developing outreach projects (e.g. Standing Together, a new agency-wide Veterans' Initiative) including social media strategy (advising on the use of Facebook, Reddit, Twitter, Instagram etc), planning events (e.g. the 2014 Jefferson Lecture delivered by Walter Isaacson), conducting congressional outreach (e.g. responding to senators' and congress members' petitions for consideration of grant proposals), and designing informational materials (e.g. a congressional brochure on NEH's contributions to the Digital Humanities).

Along with a second tutor, I assisted Dartmouth undergraduates enrolled in Latin and Greek courses, (or otherwise interested in ancient languages) in completing their homework, studying Greek and Latin grammar and vocabulary, and preparing for exams.

I assisted Professor Margaret Graver on a number of research projects, including the creation of a thematic index for a new translation of the Moral Epistles of Seneca the Younger to be published shortly by the University of Chicago Press. I also helped edit, reviewed translation and consulted on endnotes for that same edition, and procured reference materials for Professor Graver. I helped develop a scholarly bibliographical database on Seneca the Younger for an Oxford Bibliography Product. I did additional work on the essays of Michel de Montaigne.

Attended Dartmouth classes and took detailed notes on course lectures for students with designated learning disabilities.
