While working with Best Buy as a Senior DevOps engineer, principally looked after one of the ecosystems that drove Best Buy Accounts and Mobile division towards excellence in terms of Customer journey. During that journey, I as a Senior DevOps engineer; created, managed and orchestrated various tech components to keep things harmoniously aligned together and be part of the bigger picture. Wrote Dockerfiles to create and orchestrate container images, amalgamated Docker capabilities with Red hat Openshift ecosystems to drive node js based applications for the sustenance of application(s) in the realm of authentication, accounting and authorization capabilities that was eventually consumed by Best Buy Canada web and mobile products. Liaised with likes of Developers and Scrum master(s) to understand the nature of task and afterwards, incubating relevant PoCs for its implementation. For that used Terraform to write templates, Bitbucket to maintain the source code and Jenkins for the delivery of product via CICD.Also, facilitated and led Cloud Migration journey for multiple ecosystems from either Red Hat Openshift ecology to Microsoft Azure or from one antiquated Microsoft Azure Account to new polished, guard railed, governed Microsoft Azure Account. In order to do so, wrote terraform files, utilised Ansible tower and Bitbucket to maintain the source code and finally, leveraged Jenkins CICD to orchestrate resources on to Azure Account. Coordinated with relevant stakeholders to identify day to day needs in scrum of scrums and made sure team is on progressing efficiently for the sake of business continuity.

Principally looks after cloud operations that entails manufacturing of resources for business using AWS as hosting service and leveraging its managed services such as Elastic Beanstalks, ECS, OPSWorks, IAM permissions, Lambda, API gateway, CloudFront, CloudFormation, Route 53 in conjunction for DNS propagation and many more. Understands CDN providers and its association with Application layer for Enterprise application. Enable developers to keep delivering product using CI/CD pipeline tools such as Bamboo, Gitlab, CircleCI, Nexus, and Bit bucket. Planned, configured and implemented datacenter technologies such as Virtualization, LDAP, RSA, Cisco ACS, Squid proxy, NGINX as Web proxy, etc.Proficient in Containerization and Docker that is synonymous to containerization. Crafting images via Docker, Docker Compose and all the relevant tools that orbits this micro world. Working with variety of operating systems, solutions and applications. Though Linux is choice of weapon for me. Spends time on enhancing automation and security for resources using tools such as Cloud formation, Terraform, YAML, BASH, and Python. Liaise with operations analyst for BAU and incident management. Closely coordinate with Cloud architect and create strategic plans for fortnightly sprints. After successful deployment of tasks, invest time in documentation. I believe documentation is the cornerstone of every project and can enable future stakeholders to understand the vision of undertaken/undertook project.Experimented with new technologies such as OpenStack and Sandvine.Visited U.S.A for AWS Reinvent 2018 and attended various workshops and bootcamps.

Designated to look after Cisco gear, predominantly composed of Cisco routers and Cisco switches. Configuration of routes in order to maintain internal network plus handling VLAN propagation are some of the tasks that I look after. Being an network and systems administrator, devising contingency plan is must which would enable administrator to minimize/eliminate network downtime. So, devising strategies and contingency plans are part of my daily tasks. Handling Active Directory based server which is running on Windows 2012 Server R2. Managing Domain accounts and Domain Controller itself, consolidating and configuring variety of roles and features in Windows Server 2012 R2 which would itself synchronize with Cisco switches for the VLAN propagation.Configuring and Administering Astaro which is Linux based equipment designed to do routing and VLAN's having VTP domains on it. Astaro's got the capacity of assigning dynamic IP addressing to clients in an enterprise which requires lots of administration.Also responsible for handling Prometric and PearsonVUE servers which are fundamentally using Windows Server 2012 R2 OS; and their own designed application. Primarily, Prometric and PearsonVUE applications enables a candidate to do an exam for selected pathways and they require daily synchronization with Active directory and DNS. Being an administrator, I have automated few scripts which allows Prometric and PearsonVUE to synchronize themselves with Windows server 2012 R2 applications.

I delivered Level 6 and Level 7 networking papers which were essentially based on MCITP (Windows Server 2008 R2), SQL, Java, .Net and Dreamweaver. All those papers were formalized via following NZQA framework and integration of all papers for the delivery of Level 6 and Level 7.
