I have worked in numerous roles and industries including Construction (current), the Creative Industries and Higher Education since leaving the British Army in 2002. I am the Director and Co-founder of No more Digging South Coast, an exciting new business that we started in 2023.In my former role at the University of Portsmouth I was a senior manager in the Department for Curriculum and Quality Enhancement. I managed an annual budget of £4.5M with operational responsibility for staffing and recruitment, HR and finance for a department of 90+ staff. I have written, directed and produced independent British feature films for international audiences including a veteran documentary featuring Andy McNab about life for Military Veterans after service. The film premiered at the Saville Theatre in London and was nominated for a National Film Award (2019).I have worked with national charities, independent companies and studios throughout my career. Charities include; Help for Heroes and the Invictus Games Foundation.Within the Portsmouth community, I collaborate with and support local artists and art council applications including the launch of Portsmouth as a City of Sanctuary.I am an experienced and qualified leader and in my "spare time" enjoy sailing, writing for stage and screen, visual art, cinematography and music production. I have a degree in Film Production and a Masters in Business Management.
