This internship was done as part of the HIST 212 course contributing towards my degree.A standout responsibility of the role was helping to implement an overhaul of in-house artifact cataloguing, which involved reviewing collections, regrading artifacts, and rewriting collections records and and standards.Typical responsibilities included:- Researching and analyzing historical Cold War sources relating to Inuit experiences and the DEW Line- Establishing an annotated Cold War source base relating to Inuit history- Cataloguing, accessioning, and grading both 2D and 3D artifacts- Applying and learning proper artifact preservation techniques- Managing internal climate conditions so as to protect the facility
