Worked remotely and in person alongside a 3 person team to design and operate the Out of State Volunteer Program for Mission for Arizona, the Coordinated Campaign for the Arizona Democratic Party in the 2022 Midterm Elections. In this capacity I coordinated numerous volunteer opportunities including virtual phonebanking and in-person canvassing for volunteers who live outside of the state of Arizona but wished to volunteer in the election. These volunteers both were recruited and signed up individually, sometimes from as far afield as London, Lisbon, or Budapest, but also as part of out of state political groups. In order to manage this, we were in constant communication with these groups and their leadership teams via phone, email, and Slack, answering any inquiries that they may possess promptly, especially concerning technical and logistical issues.In addition to these out of state stakeholders, we worked closely with Arizona political stakeholders and politicians to bring these out of state volunteers and groups to the candidates. In order to do this I have been planning and organizing events and trips in coordination with them to ensure everything runs smoothly, including, but not limited to, finding housing for them, providing hotel booking information and travel information, running virtual and on the ground trainings when they come in state and working to ensure they are fully accounted for and properly maintained in our volunteer database.In the course of this, I personally developed several presentations and documents focused on training and providing context about the state and local politics, policies, and issues, and presented them over zoom on a monthly basis, as well as provided in-depth, yet understandable, overviews of state and local politics at virtual events with hundreds of volunteers in attendance.

Worked as part of the office staff for the United States Census Bureau in Flagstaff, AZ, in an IT Capacity, working to ensure technical problems were handled appropriately, often via the phone or during in-person training. Handled, organized and disposed of PII (Personally Identifiable Information) as per Census policies and administrative practices. Handled inventory management and retrieval of federal property, usually cell phones but occasionally laptops or other technical devices. Traveled throughout Northern Arizona in order to conduct trainings and ensure enumeration could take place in even the most remote regions of the state. Utilized internal Census databases to keep track of Federal property and ensure that they were still functioning as well as providing for remote maintenance and troubleshooting of these devices
