The Council for Advancing Student Leadership (CASL) is a student organization that works to advance, promote, facilitate, and recognize student leadership on the Bloomington campus. CASL is made up of 16 committees each providing a service specific to enhancing student leadership on campus. Each committee is led by a Director and supplemented by 2-5 committee membersAs a member and Director for the Council for Advancing Student Leadership I had the opportunity to work with a notable group of former Indiana University alumni and staff.My team members and I were responsible for the creation and distribution of a quarterly newsletter which was distributed to all of the Advisors an Coaches amongst the Indiana University Bloomington campus.Within this position I was responsible for the management and overhead of a creative and passionate group of students.My responsibilities included designating specific tasks and organizing a weekly meeting amongst board members to overview our quarterly newsletter.
