As a Head Choir Director at Birdville ISD, I lead and manage the choir program for the North Oaks Middle School, where I oversee the curriculum, budget, schedule, and performance of the choir. I have successfully organized and conducted multiple concerts, festivals, and competitions, showcasing the talent and diversity of our students. I have also developed and implemented various strategies to enhance the choir's vocal skills, musicality, and teamwork.I have a Bachelor's degree in Music from Abilene Christian University, where I studied music theory, history, composition, and pedagogy. I also gained valuable experience as a Choir Section Leader and Soloist at the First United Methodist Church of Fort Worth, where I performed and led various musical pieces and genres, ranging from classical to contemporary. Through my education and work experience, I have honed my skills in communication, interpersonal, and event planning, which are essential for my role as a choir director.I am passionate about music and education, and I am always eager to learn new things and take on new challenges. I am looking for new career opportunities that leverage my strong work ethic and experience, and that allow me to collaborate with other professionals who share my values and goals.
