Current• Acted as Interim Director of Surveillance from February 2016 to May 2016 until a new Director could be selected.• Acted as Interim Surveillance Technician from June 2017 to December 2017 until a new Technician could selected.• Obtained Synergy 3 Installer Certification in March 2018.• Responsible for the surveillance of the table games, slots, cashier’s cage, count room, all money handling positions, and for the audio/video recording of activities in the casino and throughout the property during the assigned shift.• Maintaining a thorough knowledge of casino games and procedures, as well as knowledge of laws and regulations affecting the gaming industry. • Maintaining an adherence to all Surveillance policies and procedures as applicable to the company’s internal controls. • Maintaining working knowledge of all rules and regulations of the Gaming Commission and ensures strict adherence to same throughout the property.• Protecting company assets and gaming integrity, through the consistent, thorough monitoring of all activities on property, particularly on the gaming floor.• Directing the flow of Surveillance Reports to the proper individuals within the company, always maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.• Communicating with all department heads, to ensure problems are effectively and promptly resolved.• Maintaining appropriate staffing levels in the Surveillance Department, by interviewing, selecting, training, scheduling, evaluating, promoting, disciplining and terminating associates, as needed.• Reviewing surveillance video and reports, providing detailed information to appropriate company officials and outside agencies.• Held accountable, to the highest degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
