Director, Technology FTI ConsultingInvolved as part of a team or as lead in forensic data collections both large and small in the UK and abroad in relation to discovery exercises and corporate and private investigations.Experienced in performing computer forensic examinations of several types of computer storage devices in accordance with Associated Chief Police Officers (ACPO) guidelines and principles.Familiar with a range of forensic tools including but not limited to, Access Data FTK, Imager, Encase, XRY and UFED.Daily Activities Include:On-site collection of data at client facilities from servers, desktops, laptops, cell phones, tablets and removable media. Analyse and deploy best practices applicable to the handling and analysis of electronic evidencePerform forensic investigations as required.Reconstruct, convert and repair mail stores to facilitate email review.Utilize off-the-shelf and proprietary data collection, analysis, and reporting tools.Participating in the development of customer proposals.Providing assistance to other teams.Skills:Experience in computer forensics, litigation support, information systems.Familiar with EnCase, Forensic Toolkit (FTK), Cellebrite and open source forensic tools.A strong understanding of Windows and Mac based systems.Strong understanding of and comfort with computer hardware, cell phones, and tabletsExpertise in Email server environments, such as MS Exchange and Lotus Notes and archiving environments such as Symantec Enterprise Vault.An understanding of electronic storage technology such as hard disk, tape backup, flash memory, etcStrong communication skills including the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a simple and concise manner.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.11 Years Computer Forensics and electronic disclosure experience.
