Provision of financial and tax advisory services to organisations and individuals. Amongst others, my work involves the following:-• Preparation of annual accounts for various clients involving rental properties and trusts.• Preparation of company, trusts and individual tax returns for clients using Microsoft Excel and Xero.• Preparation of tax opinions and tax reports on financial investment portfolios.• Processing of payroll on a weekly basis for clients using IMS payroll.

Assisting finance managers with data research and financial analysis for various corporate exercises ranging from mergers and acquisitions to fundraising exercises. Tasks performed include:-• Compilation of historical financial statements; and• Market research to justify assumptions used in financial models.

Working with tax assistants and managers to provide tax advisory services to local and overseas clients. My tasks involved:-• Preparation of and/or review of clients’ indirect tax returns (service tax, goods and services tax, value added tax or similar taxes) to ensure accurate, complete and timely submission to the relevant tax authorities.• Attending to ad-hoc queries from other departments (i.e. audit, advisory etc), such as relevant tax clauses for various contracts and other taxation queries.• Preparation of GST audits, financial spreadsheets, data analysis using Microsoft Excel for various clients during tax year end period.
