Greater St. Louis Area

Lead the design and roll-out team for the Firm's newest Learning Management System, including remaining as the lead technical consultant with vendor, sales and support teams. Assist with the drafting of curriculum and teaching materials for Firm university and continuing education programs, which often meant new handouts and instructor materials.Deliver training classes to all offices (18+) both in-person and online - using Teams and Webex.Develop, design, create, and deliver Camtasia and StoryLine tutorials as supplemental learning material for all audiences. Includes demo, "try me" and other tutorial-type modules.Assist helpdesk personnel with training and user questions when escalations required it. I often find myself as a "personal help-desk" for many of our attorneys. Manage and maintain the Training department's virtual "storefront" on the Firm's intranet.Provide one-on-one support and assistance for all attorneys, paralegals, and staff for new programs, equipment, hardware, litigation databases (Relativity, CaseMap, TextMap, TimeMap) and all firm software.Assist with new hire orientation and on-boarding process, including the development of online resources for new employees' first days. Serve as the lead technical contact for my department when issues arose, when new programs needed pilot-tested, and even when programs/systems are upgraded.Provide installation and troubleshooting assistance for desktop support team on software installations/roll-outs.

I provided online tutoring as a Subject Matter Expert through BrainMass.com. Experts assist students with homework issues, provide direction when performing research, and offer suggestions and tips when students prepare papers and similar presentations/projects. I often answered targeted questions that helped students with a particular or could be involved in reviewing their work as they prepare a large paper or presentation.As a Peer Editor, I was further responsible for the screening and editing of other Expert's work. When students submit custom questions that are answered by Experts, the questions/answers ultimately end up in the BrainMass.com Library. I provided assistance in the grammar and proofreading process prior to the items being uploaded to the Library. I was also instrumental in the development of BrainMass' new initiatives: eBooks and Video Lectures, after being contacted directly to design the function and flow of those systems.

Tech Center: I was responsible for hiring, managing and motivating a team of student employees that helped me assist other students on campus. Managed the on-site computer lab, became certified by Dell for laptop service and repair. Worked with the Tech Support Services team that provided technical assistance for students and faculty, including hardware, software, user management, and more. Instructor: taught soft skills courses to Business Administration students (including Interpersonal Communications and Customer Service). Instrumental in the roll-out of the Pacific Institute program for incoming freshmen. Primary instructor for Introduction to computer, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
