I have a keen interest in supporting mission-driven organizations with ideas on how to disrupt the status quo.I chose to specialize in education policy in the early years of my career due to the unique nature of educational institutions as entities. Education sector organizations often operate similarly to cities or publicly traded companies, facing a broad range of legal, regulatory, and policy concerns daily. As a result, my work over the years has been highly varied, and I have successfully helped my clients overcome a myriad of challenges. Drawing on my intuitive understanding of how to leverage public policy to achieve sustainable growth, I proactively spot opportunities so that my clients can solve business challenges or create new markets. Accordingly, I advise corporate and nonprofit leaders on the best tools to realize their goals. Outside my work in the US, governments and NGOs have hired me as a subject matter expert on projects all over the world. I have a global network of experts to whom I can turn for more information or the occasional policy debate. If I do not know the answer, I know who does. Throughout my career, I have been an advisor to and board member of startup nonprofits that seek to shift economic paradigms for individuals and families living in poverty. If there is one throughline of my work, it is supporting those that have devoted their lives to fostering economic mobility in their communities.I aspire to drive positive cultural change on my teams, insist on continuous improvement at all levels, and strive to lead with empathy and infectious positivity.
