I have had a wide array of jobs and opportunities throughout my working career. I would describe myself as an ambitious individual that is always open to a new challenge and experience that will help me to grow and become better. I have worked in numerous fields since I was 15 years old and at numerous times in my life have held multiple jobs at the same time. I find that in life the ability to affectively manage time and juggle numerous responsibilities is a key indicator of success. While in high school I held many job as a way to help earn money to pay for college. I worked as a bagger at a grocery store, I worked in food service and customer care at a Nursing Home and even delivered pizzas for a local pizza restaurant all prior to going to college. While in college I continued to work multiple jobs to avoid piling on heavy amounts of student debt. I worked for UPMC in Pittsburgh at the Brady Library by helping doctors obtain important articles for research purposes and also worked for a catering company that supplied the greater Pittsburgh area. Currently my career has taken me into education. I recently left the teaching profession to work for Presence as a School Partnership Associate. I have found that teaching is a very rewarding career that allows me to help others and teach children the power of hard work and dedication. It has also allowed me the opportunity to pursue coaching opportunities and allow students to learn valuable life lessons outside of the classroom. This lead me to pursue a degree in Educational Leadership where I found that I would like to continue to help students and one day teachers even more by providing my expertise and experiences at a leadership level. Overall, education has been a rewarding career for the past 10 years and has given me plenty of experiences and challenges to continue to grow and face additional opportunities as the years go on. Transitioning to a position outside of the classroom has allowed me to grow as a leader and allows me to connect with and help out more students in need.
