Transportation Planner
CurrentAssisting in the development, review and preparation of Colorado’s long-range statewide transportation plan and regional transportation plans. Served as the public involvement lead for the Colorado 2040 Statewide Transportation Plan. Recent duties include coordinating efforts with planning staff in each of CDOT's Engineering Regions, discussing planning policy and ensuring consistency around the state. Drafted environmental justice analysis and connecting economic impacts to transportation investment technical chapters in the 2030 statewide plan. Current projects include assisting in the revision of the 1601 interchange policy and procedural directive and project management for an environmental and transportation streamlining pilot project called STEP-UP. STEP UP is a pilot project designed to review the transportation planning process and evaluate methods by which environmental impacts of proposed transportation improvements could be identified early on in the planning process. Guided the Federal approval process for the North Front Range Transportation Improvement Program and air quality conformity determination.
