Assisting in the development, review and preparation of Colorado’s long-range statewide transportation plan and regional transportation plans. Served as the public involvement lead for the Colorado 2040 Statewide Transportation Plan. Recent duties include coordinating efforts with planning staff in each of CDOT's Engineering Regions, discussing planning policy and ensuring consistency around the state. Drafted environmental justice analysis and connecting economic impacts to transportation investment technical chapters in the 2030 statewide plan. Current projects include assisting in the revision of the 1601 interchange policy and procedural directive and project management for an environmental and transportation streamlining pilot project called STEP-UP. STEP UP is a pilot project designed to review the transportation planning process and evaluate methods by which environmental impacts of proposed transportation improvements could be identified early on in the planning process. Guided the Federal approval process for the North Front Range Transportation Improvement Program and air quality conformity determination.

Helped local community members of the Town of Brobo, Ivory Coast develop solutions to urban problems and effectively direct financial and technical resources. Completed the construction of school latrines with the participation of several members of the community. Participated in the organization of a youth club to enhance and raise HIV/AIDS awareness. Worked with Mayor’s Office and other local associations for the planning and implementation of a pre-school courtyard enclosure and the construction of medical waste incinerators for the local hospital. Developed a proposal for an animal husbandry project in participation with neighboring villages and The Union of Physical Handicap Individuals of Brobo. Initiated conversations with the Village of Koundanou for the development of solutions to their water shortage problem.

In collaboration with regional elected officials and city staff, developed a regional transportation planning agreement prioritizing and unifying Northern Metro transportation planning efforts. Provided Board of County Commissioners with updates regarding transportation planning efforts and opportunities at the state and local levels. Worked extensively on an update to the Adams County Transportation Plan. Revised and assisted in the implementation of Adams County development impact fees. Represented Adams County interests at various state and local planning meetings. Performed site review of new county developments.

Performed extensive work on Transportation Demand Management (TDM) strategies and policies. Worked intensively on the Colorado Boulevard B-Line Shuttle Project. Coordinated Neighborhood Shuttle Focus Group Task Force. Performed research on all forms of alternative modes of transportation. Offered site design related research and input. Performed extensive survey implementation and distribution.
