I graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2011 with a BA in History. My original intentions were to pursue a degree in History Education, but that required 6-12 months student teaching in a public school and I was, and still am, providing income for my family as the primary breadwinner. I was unable to finish that program due to supporting my household, but, unwilling to lose the significant progress I had made towards that degree, I opted to finish with my BA in History, with a focus in World History, and continue to progress in the working world as quickly as possible. The history of the world has always been a passion of mine. I thoroughly believe in the importance of understanding the past as a way of building a better present and future. This understanding has also motivated me to pursue further education, as I hope to begin a Masters degree in a work-flexible program as soon as possible.I am a skilled, intelligent, and efficient worker with a drive for self-improvement both personally and professionally. With familial stability now in reach I am looking for new opportunities to grow and expand my horizons. I look forward to finding that chance.
