Through Startplaying.games I was able to create a career out of my passion of being a full time Dungeon Master for the game Dungeons and Dragons for players all across the world. Nancy's Revival Diner was established in Wilkinsburg, PA (on the East side of Pittsburgh) in 1974, and has been a Pittsburgh staple ever since. A community hub and bastion of Wilkinsburg culture Nancy's has been serving delicious homecooked meals for breakfast and lunch for 46 years and counting. My role as General Manager involves maintaining the daily operation of the restaurant. Ordering supplies, meat, and produce from our suppliers, managing inventory, and supervising waitstaff.

In December 2012 I closed my business Foresite Branding (see Additional Relevant Experience below) in which I had been operating as a freelance Graphic Designer for nearly two years with clients in the State College, PA and New York City, NY areas. In January 2013 I reopened my design business as Seven Worlds Design, re-establishing myself here in the Pittsburgh area and again in January of 2014 I acquired three new partners and the company then became The Smartegists. As a National Admissions Representative for EDMC I've been working with thousands of incoming students of all ages, across the nation, for the Art Institutes. It is my job to help them find and connect with the education they need to meet their goals in life. Responsibilities include:• Speaking with potential Art Institute students to help determine their area of interest and then connecting them with the correct representatives at the school.• Working with the Assistant Directors of Admissions to assist them with connecting to potential students.

Through Foresite Branding I developed myself as a Social Media Marketer and business owner. As a company we focused on providing marketing and design solutions to small businesses on Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Our goal was to create a community around our client’s businesses that would convert casual visitors to their social media sites into paying customers. Responsibilities included:• Managing a staff of four employees including one sales representative, one junior web designer, and one administrative assistant.• Designing Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn marketing campaigns for clients ranging from large landscaping companies to sports and news podcasters to local media personalities and musicians. • Authoring blog content and managing Twitter content. • Creating Google AdWords campaigns.

With a customer base nearing ten thousand members, I was able to develop strong customer service and management experience in a large scale setting through working with the State College Area YMCA (a branch of the YMCA of Centre County). The SCAYMCA is a community organization dedicated to providing a positive environment for local families and individuals to enjoy healthy and active lifestyles. Responsibilities included: • Managing scheduling for a staff of over ten member services representatives.• Managed patron accounts, entered account data, and handled customer service inquiries.• Received and transferred phone calls, maintained patron files, distributed inter-office mailings.

As a customer service representative for FedLoan Servicing (a branch of PHEAA) I worked in an inbound customer service call center handling customer concerns regarding their student loans and their repayment plans. Our focus was on bringing a resolution to student concerns in the briefest time possible while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Acid Lab Studios is a company formed to develop an independently produced video game. This game is currently in development.

EB Jacobs, LLC is a nationwide consulting firm specializing in the testing of potential employees or candidates across government agencies, police and fire departments, transportation authorities, and corporate organizations. I was responsible for managing candidate databases in Excel, SPSS, and ITEMAN and producing mailings of candidate results. I was also responsible for the Bus Operator Selection System (BOSS) program. This involved working directly with clients, scanning incoming data, entering and managing data in our online database and delivering results to transportation authorities across the nation that participate in EB Jacobs candidate testing programs. Other responsibilities included:• Scanning test results for candidates.• Designing "Memory Scene Images" for San Antonio Police and Fire Entry Level Testing.

College Works Painting provides leadership internship programs for undergraduate college students to give them the experience of managing their own business. I was honored to be one of seventy-three students selected to personally run an exterior house painting business out of over ten thousand applicants statewide and the experience of managing my own business has been priceless. I generated over $76,000 in sales revenue with an average job size of $2800 in five months time. In other words, we painted 27 houses that summer. Responsibilities included:• Managing two crews of painters totaling eight employees working two separate house painting job sites simultaneously.• Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring fifteen employees.• Door to door, neighborhood to neighborhood, sales. Posting signs and directly marketing my services to potential clients throughout the Bellefonte, PA area.
