In 2023, I had the opportunity to be a part of Project Forget Me Not, a for youth by youths initiative aimed at raising around dementia, as the head of marketing. As the marketing head, I was in charge of managing our social media accounts, churning out weekly Instagram posts, sourcing and working with various videographers for any upcoming videos and coming up with various marketing plans for important dates such as World Alzheimer's Day. Highlights- Gaining over 3000 impressions over a total of 50 posts- Sourced and liaised with 5 videographers to find one that is most suited for our project and budget- Ideate and execute 3 marketing plans

I had the opportunity to participate in NAC's (National Youth Council) event, the "Youth Action Challenge". During the event, my team and I had to validate our problem statement by gathering different secondary and primary evidence, derive a solution that targets our problem at its root cause, and come up with the necessary budget, logistics, deliverables and timeline proposals. Throughout this experience, I was able to hone my skills in events ideation, events planning and pitching which helps me better plan future art events.Highlights- Validated our problem statement by sourcing and interviewing 4 different civic organisation- Attended different masterclasses related to root cause analysis, marketing, effecting budgeting and pitching- Successfully pitched for and secured a grant of $20,000

I am currently working as a counter staff for Converge Studios, a street dance studio. My task includes but is not limited to data entry, sales, and management. As a result, I was able to hone my customer service skills when dealing with difficult customers, I became more proficient in Microsoft Excel and I developed problem-solving skills when overcoming challenges that arise in the workplace. This allows me to better understand the job scope of the front of house staff when I'm sourcing volunteers for future art events.Highlights- Exercise problem-solving skills when a problem arises (i.e. our speakers suddenly stopped working)- Received 30 good reviews from customers by providing a pleasant visitor experience for them- Successfully doing crowd control for over 150 customers by staggering the exit timings for them

I was a part-time service staff at Paris Baguette. I was in charge of handling sales, making coffee, and preparing food. At Paris Baguette, I was often thrown into difficult situations. For instance, working on the weekend often includes a large volume of customers. When I first started out this often caused me to panic. However, as I go along, I was able to develop communication skills and also the ability to be flexible and adaptable. Similar to graphic design, there will be clients who have different viewpoints or perspectives, it is then important for me to properly convey my creative choices to them. At the end of the day, it is important to be flexible and adaptive in order to cater to different clients' needs.Highlights- Solved over 20 customer problems by providing alternatives- Increased sales by 5% by ensuring a pleasant visitor experience- Ensure smooth traffic flow when dealing with over 400 customers during the weekends
