As dance has given me so much happiness and joy in my life, I look forward to seeing how I can contribute back to the industry. With my skills as a graphic designer and events planner, let me be a part of your journeys to help bring your ideas to life. My outgoing and kind personality makes it easy for me to connect with people from diverse backgrounds, which has been a valuable asset in my career so far.Throughout my school life, I have attended various modules such as Visual Communications and IT Applications that have taught me the basics of different Adobe softwares. Having joined Project forget me not, a project aimed at raising awareness around dementia, I was able to work with them as their head of marketing. This has allowed me to hone my various design and creative skills. Moreover, having gone through the youth action challenge, me and my team were able to secure a grant of 20 thousand for our project. Throughout the process, I ideated for different solutions and programs, came up with the budget and measurables for our event and finally pitch to judges for them to decide what level of grant to allocate to us. This taught me skills essential in organising different events for different art organisations.Furthermore, ever since discovering my passion for dance at the age of 16, I have participated in many different dance events. This includes dance recitals, dance films and dance competitions. This allowed me to develop an in-depth understanding of the different genres of dance, and the different platforms that can be used to showcase it. All in all, as a lifelong learner, I am constantly seeking new opportunities to expand my knowledge and skill set. I am always excited to apply new knowledge to future roles in the industry and contribute to the success of organisations that value creativity, innovation, and passion.
