About Aaron Jacob

Hi, world! I’m Aaron. I hail from both the Rio Grande Valley (that culturally unique, quirky southernmost tip of Texas) and the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, and I study computer science as an undergraduate at The University of Texas at Dallas.At heart, I like making things.As a learner of computer science since elementary school, I use what I learn in and out of the classroom to craft tech that solves problems and makes life easier for everyone. In addition to developing skills and products in cross-platform and native mobile app development, web development, computer vision in machine learning, and engineering design, I’m committed to a lifetime of immersion in learning new technologies and approaches to develop tech that continuously and efficiently works for you.As a hobby, I engage in visual design. I love taking photos, making videos, crafting a brand identity, designing intuitive user experiences, and meticulously crafting other visual experiences that infuse color, life, and simplicity into highly technical projects that I help create.Simply put, I am passionate and very detail-oriented about working within the intersection of art and technology and value creativity, innovation, and quality in everything I do.Although I am by no means a frequent flyer, I also love flying (being an “AvGeek”) and exploring new places and cultures. I haven’t gone outside North America in a really long time, but I can only dream of visiting at least every continent (except probably Antarctica?) by some day.I’m just starting my career journey, and although it feels daunting to me, I continue to look forward to crafting the next chapter of my life and growing professionally.
