Westar EnergySpatial Solution Architect, GIS Integration, Maximo 7.6 ImplementationWestar Energy engaged Cohesive solutions for a large scale, greenfield replacement to their work and asset management systems. The project included a migration of their current mainframe asset management system to Maximo EAM and integrating this new system with their existing ESRI ArcGIS environment and new ArcFM Designer environment. The Cohesive GIS team was tasked with developing process and technical design and build around 2 major integrations; Maximo (Assets, Locations, Work) with ArcGIS/ArcFM and Maximo with ArcFM Designer (CU, CUE and Work). The Cohesive team successfully went live with these integrations and the full greenfield replacement initiative in April of 2017.
