Hi, I'm Aaron and I'm a computer science student at Georgia Tech set to graduate in 2027, with a deep passion for software engineering and quantitative finance. My CS concentrations are Intelligence and Information Internetworks and I am pursuing a minor in Fintech. During my internship at Raymond James, I discovered my interest in quantitative finance, as the experience allowed me to seamlessly bridge the gap between the integration of my computer science skills with real-world financial applications. Through various projects and internships, I've gained hands-on experience in machine learning and data science, including building a web application designed to analyze the overall sentiment of global stock tickers.Currently, as a member of the Data Science @ GT club, I was selected to join the Sports Analysis Machine Learning Project team, where my two teammates and I are developing a predictive model to forecast NFL running back usage. Our ultimate goal is to outperform sportsbook odds and create a profitable model. My experience as a data engineer for the IMC Quant Team @ GT has enabled me to apply my programming skills to the financial world, while also building a strong foundation in Python, Java, and JavaScript.
