I am compelled to fight for the welfare of our current generation and to facilitate the implementation of sound policy, ensuring economic development and growth that is equitable. I champion principles of social justice and sustainable development and I believe in my ability to effect meaningful change. Economic institutions and public policy have the capacity to improve the world in ways that matter and I want to help make that happen as an economist and policy analyst.I was born in Botswana, I grew up in Southeast Asia, and I moved to Canada in 2017 to study. I recently graduated with a BSc Economics (Hons) from Dalhousie University and am proficient with econometric techniques (using R, Stata, EViews). My research interests include macroeconomic policy, financial systems, and economic development. I posses a strong analytical and research background in a wide range of micro and macro issues. Additionally, I am Proficient in quantitative and qualitative research, data and statistical analysis, and modelling techniques using large datasets.
