A highly motivated Low Carbon Consultant with extensive knowledge of energy analysis, thermal performance calculations, compliance calculations and reporting using various simulation tools. Working as a Senior Sustainability Engineer at SDS ENERGY GROUP LTD. I consult with clients and design team members to embed sustainable practices at the heart of a project, whilst ensuring to balance the commercial needs of the client and the wider functionality of the building.As regulatory requirements and planning policy targets for sustainability and reductions in carbon dioxide emissions become ever more rigorous, early discussions to identify project specific targets and strategies become key. Nine years of industry experience as a sustainability engineer, building physicist, sustainability consultant and compliance energy assessor have allowed me to develop a well-rounded view of engineering and sustainability principles. Our team aims to focus on :-• Produce Level 3, 4, & 5 Energy Performance Certificates• Produce Level 3 & 4 TM44 Air Conditioning Inspection Reports• Energy assessments using IES VE, and DesignBuilder• Develop renewable energy strategies for local authority submissions• London Plan Energy Statements• Natural Ventilation Strategies (Macroflo)• Day lighting Analysis (FlucsDL)• Develop building regulations compliance strategies for Part L2a E&W and Part F2a NI• Develop low carbon consultancy strategies • Assist in providing advice and information required to achieve LEED, BREEAM and SKA targets.• M&E Lifecycle analysis
