I have been involved with VORP programs since 1996, when I joined the development team of the Seattle VORP organization.. I was trained as a mediator in Monterey in 1998, and have been a mediator ever since. In the VORP program, non-violent, first-time youth offenders and their victims are brought together to recognize the injustice that was done and find a path towards reconciliation.
