Developing novel optical applications leveraging DNA nanotechnology

As part of the Oleg Gang Research group we explore application of DNA Nanotechnology to the development of advanced material.

Preparing a Master's thesis on the characterization of a battery material electrolyte. Investigating surface wetting properties of beta-alumina, and chemical interactions at the interface of beta-alumina with various anodic materials. Experimental techniques include SEM, EPMA, XRD and SIMS.

Business Unit: Intelligence, Information and Services (IIS), Field Engineering• Coordinated and maintained 20+ project plans, and conducted 30+ plan audits as part of the quality and process improvement team for three business groups representing 4,000 field engineers across the globe.•Audited communications to ensure 20+ managers adhered to their project plans to better ensure customer satisfaction.Collected and communicated best practices to share across the organization to other managers.•Identified and assisted to implement strategic improvements for the organization through both a 6Sigma project and collaboration with other departments. • Active member of YESNET ERG (Young Employee Success Network, Enterprise Resource Group): Organizing events and attending board meetings.

Trade & Industry Analyst, June-August 2013• Developed a Product and Services list for a survey of Military Aircraft for the USAF.• Drafted analysis on ‘Deep Dive’ a project on the Industrial Base for the Space Sector.• Assisted in analysis of financial data for publication.
