CurrentAs the Vice President of Accessibility at Allyant, I am dedicated to advancing digital and communications accessibility. My role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities aimed at promoting inclusivity and ensuring equitable access to information for all.I am actively engaged in public speaking and advocacy, where I champion the importance of accessibility in the digital age. Through various platforms, I raise awareness and drive conversations around the necessity of accessible communications.I lead Allyant’s Accessibility Claims Team, providing crucial support to clients facing accessibility-related legal challenges, including lawsuits, demand letters, and other legal actions. Our team is committed to helping clients navigate these complex situations with expertise and care.Internally, I oversee Allyant’s “Live our Values” initiative, which focuses on our own accessibility efforts. This initiative ensures that we practice what we preach by maintaining high standards of accessibility within our organization.Additionally, I serve as the product manager for Allyant’s ProcureEnsure offering. This service provides organizations with a comprehensive 2-3 hour accessibility and usability assessment of software they are considering for purchase, helping them make informed decisions that prioritize accessibility.My work at Allyant is driven by a passion for creating inclusive environments and empowering organizations to achieve their accessibility goals.
