The Spot is home to the first bouldering climbing gym in the USA, with locations now in Boulder, Denver, Golden, and Louisville, Colorado.Worked as a commercial route setter for all of The Spot's Front Range gyms. Responsible for designing experiences from start to finish, carefully curating each rock climb with an attention to detail and the user in mind. My goal as a setter was to entice newer climbers to try problems outside of their comfort zone, give experienced climbers challenging projects to increase their skill, strength, problem solving ability, or some combination of all three, and ultimately to provide a world-class experience that kept members and guests engaged and coming back for more. I drew my inspiration from rock climbs out in the real world, with most of my experience coming from limestone sport routes all over the world. I love the culture of rock climbing along with the community it provides. I want to bring as many people into the world of outdoor climbing as I can, and route-setting was my way of slowly nudging people towards the endless possibility that awaits them outside.

AECOM is the world’s trusted infrastructure consulting firm, partnering with clients to solve the world’s most complex challenges and build legacies for generations to come- Provided floodplain mapping analyses for approx. 20 miles of streams and rivers in the Boulder County area, using ArcGIS and HEC-GeoRAS. Personally developed 8 individual HEC-RAS models using a combination of existing terrain data, python, and post-flood survey data in GIS to ensure that FEMA's flood insurance rate maps (FIRM's) are accurate and up-to-date following record flooding all along the Colorado Front Range in 2013.- Conducted multiple dam breach studies for the state of New Mexico using two dimensional hydraulic modeling with HEC-RAS and FLO-2D. Personally visited 5 earthen-embankment dams in southern New Mexico and developed final dam report consisting of risk maps, detailed engineering drawings, as well as breach parameters necessary to simulate a possible dam-failure under a variety of different weather scenarios.- Knowledge of FEMA's Condtional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR) application process, having prepared several applications for clients, and experience with all aspects of the process including hydraulic analysis, report format, and application requirements.- Experience with transportation drainage and design, utilizing MicroStation and Bentley InRoads in a fast paced design build environment.
