As the Director of Industry Relations at the Edwardson School of Industrial Engineering (IE) at Purdue University, I leverage my 20+ years of manufacturing experience and my MBA and Six Sigma Black Belt credentials to foster strong partnerships and collaborations between the IE faculty, students, and industry partners. My mission is to advance the IE education, research, and outreach programs and to promote the Purdue IE brand and reputation in the national and global markets.Throughout my career, I have demonstrated my passion for continuous improvement, process re-engineering, change management, and team-based culture in various fields, such as machining, warehousing, pharmaceutical, medical device, and consulting. I have also trained and mentored employees, led and participated in lean initiatives, conducted ISO audits, and managed projects with significant outcomes and impacts. Some of my notable achievements include receiving multiple awards from Eli Lilly and Purdue University for leading and contributing to safety, quality, and innovation initiatives.
