My subsequent GTA experiences at UMKC were for my M.A. in Theatre. I had two professional collaborations in the capacity of dramaturg: one at The Coterie and one at The Unicorn (Number the Stars and Inspecting Carol respectively.) I also spent two semesters teaching undergraduate theatre courses as part of a GTA. (Fall 2012, Spring 2013.)

Customer service telephone support for HR Block's tax software. The job entailed becoming acquainted with basic tax terminology and common troubleshooting. Also, technical software support training was undertaken to assist in basic software issues. I would describe the job as fairly intense, being that taxes are not a subject that generally causes folks to relax and be patient.

My wife and I drove a 43' tour bus, tricked out with marketing decor, over 50,000 miles in 15 months. The job contains elements of marketing and promoting a multiple national brands. It also involved getting a class B CDL, event planning and implementation.

Construction and implementation of scenic, lighting, and sound elements for Concordia's theatre department season.
