This reduced the staff requirements for yearly inventory and reduced the costs involved by $500 every year. Initiative - designed and implemented a new employee training checklist and a training manual for each sales season, this improved retention of new staff and reduced the time spent on training from one month to two weeks.Planning Sales Mix - Involved in planning and promoting new footwear lines and attended selection and buying meetings for upcoming seasons with Nike, Reebok, Adidas and many European Shoe Companies.Creative Problem Solving - initiated and coordinated a joint effort Tsunami disaster relief support system with Kiddie Kobbler and Salvation Army in which we collected used footwear in our store to donate to Salvation Army to be used in disaster areas and for sales in Salvation Army stores with the proceeds going to the Tsunami relief effort.
