Clinician scientist and reproductive endocrinologist with clinical practice expertise in female and male infertility, intrauterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilization (IVF), preimplantation genetic screening/diagnosis (PGS/PGD), elective egg freezing, donor egg IVF, the treatment of uterine fibroids, polyps, uterine septum, polycystic ovarian syndrome and LGBT family building. Clinical research focused on elective single embryo transfer as a means to reduce the risk of ART multiple gestation and obstetrical complications, predictors of donor oocyte IVF outcomes, the development of dynamic serum anti-mullerian hormone (AMH) trends for reproductive profiling and racial/ethnic disparities in IVF outcomes and fibroids. Translational research focused on the functional role of aberrant microRNA expression and targeted therapy in uterine fibroids. Co-investigator within in the Reproductive Medicine Network and Clinical Research Scientist Program collaborative evaluating predictors of pregnancy outcomes in ovarian stimulation intrauterine insemination (OS-IU) cycles and investigation of the association of uterine fibroids and outcomes following OS-IUI.
