I specialize in creating an excellent dining experience. While my hospitality work requires an adept handle on salesmanship, I am first and foremost an entertainer to my guests. At the moment, I am a server for the Mina Group and in training to become a Certified Sommelier. I am a Certified Beer Server by the Cicerone Association. In general, I am interested in culture and history as it presents itself in the culinary world. A sibling of mine and I plot endlessly on how to put Honduran cuisine on the map.Outside of my professional life I am an enthusiastic supporter of three Mission District thrift stores each operated by a different family member of mine: Pikitos (my mom's store), Eye Thrift (my aunt's store), and Born Again Thrift (my cousin's store). I am a bibliophile who frequents the Oakland and San Francisco Public libraries. I dabble in fiction writing. For six years of my life, I competed in pageants under the stage name Brenda Buttons. I have a puppy named Killua who I am raising with my partner of four years. He takes care of most of the raising however, as he is a puppy professor at SF Puppy Prep.
