Security Systems Specialist
Current- Collaborate with the Physical Security Systems Manager and the team to design and implement state-of-the-art physical security systems that safeguard assets and people.- Install, program, and maintain a wide range of physical security systems, such as access control systems (Lenel), security video systems (Avigilon), wireless intercom systems (Stentofon/Zenitel), life safety systems (LSP), license plate recognition systems (INEX), key systems, and other asset protection systems for multiple locations, including over 20 remote properties.- Act as the primary point of contact with security systems support GSOC/SOC staff to resolve system problems with minimal disruption, and effectively communicate problem resolution status to users and management.- Oversee the testing and auditing of physical security systems to ensure proper installation, integration, and maintenance. Conduct systems and penetration testing, as well as other audits, to verify that operational capabilities meet or exceed requirements.- Create and maintain configuration and maintenance documentation, including accurate component labeling, technical diagrams, hardware and software configurations, and as-built documentation, and document clear and precise processes and procedures for systems users.- Oversee routine maintenance and testing of physical security systems, including physical installations, network-based equipment, servers, and other devices such as access control systems that require firmware upgrades.- Oversee the identification and resolution of physical security issues at remote locations by working closely with vendors and technical support. Responsible for creating and managing incident tickets and coordinating with IT and Network teams to ensure that physical security systems are integrated effectively.
