I have been honoured to have been chosen as a member of the student council for the batch 2024 - 2025 at St. Columba's School, New Delhi.

I, Sayed Aatif Jamal of class 10 am extremely privileged to share that I was appointed as the Head Boy of the Middle School for the session 2023-2024. I have been tasked with the responsibility of leading a prefecture of over 170 prefects from different classes. While I feel extremely privileged and honored, I also feel extremely grateful for this opportunity to serve my Alma Mater.

I am honored to share that I was appointed as the Vice Captain for Brother Crease house for the session 2022-2023 which is the highest post one can obtain in class 9. I, along with my captain was chosen to lead a prefecture of about 40 students and guide them with day to day issues.

I had the privilege of serving as President of the Environmental Club, which instilled in me a sense of civic responsibility and encouraged me to think creatively.I now know I am committed to creating an environment in which everyone feels valued and supported, and I am committed to ensuring that all my fellow classmates have the opportunity to grow and learn from each other.Throughout my term as President, I helped organize several events like the Panchatatva Mela, Umang Mela and the Justice Bioscope Show.

After a rigorous 4 month long selection process, I qualified amongst the top 20 out of 6000 total participants from all over India.I was rewarded with a fully financed one week long internship in Bangalore, India. The internship was organized by Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail in association with 1M1B. Each day ended with new learnings, assignments, and reflections!On the final day, we pitched out innovative solutions to local problems to an esteemed board of judges.

I've been appointed as the team leader by @Scholastic to organize a book fair and manage my team at St. Columba's School. The project involves making our own virtual company, evolving a properly planned structure, assigning roles and jobs and working together as a team to maximize our sales!All in all, it's the perfect opportunity to learn about teamwork, leadership, marketing and finance.
