About Alex August
I have experience in aviation, customer service, hospitality, analytics, and food service. I have a wide skill set that applies to all of those, and have gained valuable knowledge working in each of these industries. I aim to combine my skill set from each, creating one goal oriented mindset to achieve great things in my life. I am a highly motivated individual seeking personal satisfaction through hard work and dedication to my crafts, whatever they may be. I am seeking a career path that will allow me to do so in my highest form!Currently finishing my Aviation Management degree with Auburn University, however I have been involved with aviation for a very long time. I started flying at 16 years old, I got my private license and started some instrument training as well before I went to college. At Auburn I completed my instrument rating, and began pursuing my degree in Aviation Management. I believe I can make a difference in the world of aviation at some of the largest airports in the world. I had to take a long break from school but I am very excited to get back to work, and eventually land a career in whatever that may be.

What started off as a summer job for some cash, ended up being one of my most valuable experiences to date. I learned so much about customer service, hospitality, how to market a product, how to properly prepare and make great foods, and how to represent myself in the business world. I started at the bottom and worked my way up to a management position over 3 + years of work here.Cooked, cleaned, made custard (main duty), customer service, grounds keeping, maintenance, repair, you name it! Worked hands on with the owners and was very close with them. They gave me the opportunity to be a leader in their business and I greatly appreciate that. I learned more working with Clay and Suzy than I have at any other job.
