I am a Bachelor of Science graduate from Wilfrid Laurier University’s Honours Science program with a passion for healthcare. My goals for the next few years are to attend dental school and obtain a Doctor of Dental Surgery/Medicine degree. During my undergrad, I participated in the Canadian Undergraduate Conference On Healthcare (CUCOH) and Medlife, along with many other extracurricular activities in and out of school. These activities allowed me to build on many important attributes such as collaboration, leadership, perseverance, along with many others. Each trait that I was able to apply over time has shaped me to be more confident and all the more excited to join a field of work where I can directly improve the lives of those in my community.Working part-time while continuing to fulfill my duty as a full-time student. Serving my community I get to see all kinds of people which gives me greater motivation to pursue a career in healthcare where I make an impact firsthand. With my previous dental clinic shadowing experiences I have learned alot about the business and procedures within the field. Currently looking for more job shadowing opportunities in dental clinics or specialized clinics.
