About Anantasri Boddupalli

Basically, I am passionate about designing and developing systems to improve security and sensing, by exploiting the existing communication protocols and wireless networks. With 5 years of experience in signal processing, I have worked on applications related to positioning/tracking, biomedical and wireless healthcare, while sometimes using machine learning and optimization techniques for getting the desired results. Not only have I developed the algorithms, but even had the hands-on experience of designing the system needed to test the same. I strongly feel that being a Gooner (fan of Arsenal F. C.) for more than a decade and half has toughened me up well to handle life. When I’m not looking at signals and data, you’ll mostly find me either lost in a book, watching football or gardening. Often, I also volunteer in some of the service activities of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organization. Hari Duration: Nov 2013 – Apr 2014In collaboration with LG Soft India (LGSI) Developed an outdoor navigation system by fusing the inertial measurement unit (IMU) data with the GPS data to provide navigation during instances of GPS outage.Project Title: Indoor Positioning and Navigation Of Unmanned Motorized ObjectsProject Guide: Professor K. V. S. Hari Duration: Oct 2012 – Nov 2013Funded by the Robert Bosch Center for Cyber-Physical Systems (RBCCPS), IISc  Designed an autonomous robot, using a MSP430G2553 microcontroller, for use in hazardous environments and integrated the inertial navigation system (INS) developed in the OpenShoe project (in collaboration with KTH-RIT, Sweden) for the purpose of indoor positioning and tracking, which is done by means of a Kalman filter. Programmed to move with a swift stop-and-go motion, the robot provides instances of Zero Velocity Updates (ZuPTs) which helped control the error in the Kalman filter. Had the opportunity to learn and apply few detection and also estimation concepts, like the linear minimum mean square error (LMMSE) estimation and least squares, for error reduction.
