Created IPython notebook tutorials showing cancer researchers how to query data in ISB's Cancer Gateway in the Cloud. The notebooks specifically dealt with exploring and analyzing data in the Sanger Institute's database COSMIC (Catalogue of Somatic Mutations in Cancer).

Through the engineering school, I tutored students in Calculus and Physics on a weekly basis.

During the fall semester of my senior year of high school and the prior summer, I worked with Dr. Jagmeet Kanwal to explore protein interactions in the synapse that might lead to the development and progression of autism spectrum disorders. To do this, I used protein modeling software to simulate protein interactions, and analyzed thermodynamic measurements of the hypothetical protein-protein complex to draw conclusions about the possibility of the two proteins interacting in an actual brain. In addition, I studied the brains of zebrafish that had been genetically modified to see if the modification resulted in changes that are observed in the brains of autistic patients.
