Washington University Emergency Support Team (Est) company information, Employees & Contact Information

WashU’s Emergency Support Team (EST) is a student-run organization dedicated to providing high-quality, free healthcare services to the WashU Danforth campus. EST's crews of trained EMTs offer 24/7 BLS care throughout the academic year, responding to over 600 on-campus medical emergencies every year. Beyond emergency response, EST is committed to serving other organizations on WashU’s campus through special coverage of sporting events and large events such as WILD (a major concert that WashU hosts). EST also engages with a variety of public health measures by staffing vaccine clinics, offering AHA BLS and CPR training, conducting CPR research, and many other initiatives. For these efforts, EST was awarded the Group Merit Award by the Missouri Public Health Association in 2024 for its significant contributions to the public health of Missouri. As a member of the National Collegiate EMS Foundation (NCEMSF), EST has received significant recognition for its services. In addition to induction into the NCEMSF Hall of Fame as winners of the 2024 Stryker Skills Competition, EST has been honored with the EMS Ready Campus, Striving for Excellence, and HeartSafe Campus designations.
