Svp, Managing Director - Specialty Lending
CurrentSVP, Managing Director - Specialty Lending is responsible for maximizing value and achieving well-defined Bank goals through origination, structure, and monitoring of the Specialty Lending Portfolio. Responsible for working directly with and overseeing the team of Specialty Lending Officers and Portfolio Managers who perform underwriting, portfolio management and relationship management for the Specialty Lending division of Cogent Bank. Key Responsibilities & Duties:• Plays a key role supporting origination, structuring and deal execution, working on a broad scope of assignments within Specialty Finance • Oversight of credit related responsibilities for the Specialty Lending Officers and Administrators, including financial statement spreading and validation of various underwriting models• Partners with Specialty Lending Officers and Relationship Managers in credit agreement review and negotiation• Validates covenant compliance and covenant management• Evaluates and challenges annual budget to ensure alignment with Bank goals• Maintains a comprehensive understanding of market conditions that may affect industries within the portfolio• Monitors capital needs of portfolio clients and works with Specialty Lending Team to ensure capital projects are completed on time and within approved scope• Monitors and participates in preventative maintenance review process, ensuring Specialty Lending Assets are being cared for properly
