Internal Communications Operations Manager
CurrentI am passionate about animal welfare and all things internal communications, particularly behaviour and culture. I feel very privileged to be in a role that is constantly changing, where no two years are the same. It allows me to continually develop to meet the ever changing organisational and professional needs.The remit of my role is to enable staff and volunteers at the RSPCA to feel informed, connected and purposeful in order to drive organisational performance.I facilitate improved and effective communications with operational staff and volunteers by providing relevant information and advice in the appropriate format to develop a strong partnership and support the delivery of animal welfare services.I provide operational staff and volunteers with opportunities to contribute ideas for improvement and facilitate the sharing of good practice across the organisation.I ensure that operational staff and volunteers have the tools required for communicating and promoting plans, visions, strategies and activities both internally and externally.For all communications I ensure that messaging is consistent and in line with the RSPCA’s strategy, brand and values, and that communications enhance mutual respect and recognise achievement of employees and volunteers.
