Un1tus was a brand under Sensical Inc.: Experience as an industrial seamstress, working on a sewing line and in sewing pod teams. My speed and skill in sewing led me to take on the more challenging parts of the production process. I specialize in sewing various jersey fabrics for soccer, volleyball, tag football, bicycling, football, and women's tennis. After only a few months, I was transferred to the bundling department, where I worked closely with all other departments, including artwork, cutting, print, dye sublimation, sewing, inspection, and packaging. In this role, I inspected all work that came into bundling, identified errors, and worked with other departments to correct their mistakes, minimizing rework. Over time, I improved the artwork process by catching flaws earlier in the production process, reducing the amount of rework required. Additionally, I trained team members in each department to recognize and address potential issues before they reach bundling, resulting in fewer mistakes and less rework.

At Tuxedo Junction, I was responsible for managing a branch and training staff. My duties included overseeing all orders and tuxedo arrivals, addressing customer complaints and feedback, and measuring customers for tuxedos while entering their information into computer systems and double-checking for accuracy. I possessed extensive knowledge of our 100 colors and designer tuxedos, which enabled me to provide our clients with the highest level of expertise in selecting the perfect tuxedo for their needs.At bridal shows, I honed my sales skills by crafting persuasive pitches that highlighted the benefits of using our services. To win over brides and grooms, I had to quickly put together all the relevant information about our tuxedos and present it in a compelling way. My approach involved pivoting to understand each couple's unique needs for their big day, so I could tailor my pitch accordingly. The goal was always to close the deal right on the spot, and I worked hard to develop a strategy that would help me achieve success every time.Additionally, I worked closely with brides to coordinate wedding plans, groomsmen measurements, pickup and return times, and ensure a perfect fit. I also attended weddings to handle any issues that may arise with the tuxedos. Furthermore, I cold called schools to allow us to sponsor proms and band uniforms, as well as upsold formal wear to caterers.

My experience includes managing sewing production orders and supervising seamstresses. I possess excellent problem-solving skills, demonstrated through my ability to troubleshoot fabric-related issues, including shortages and flaws. With years of experience, I've developed expertise in fitting patterns around flawed fabrics and ensuring high-quality finished products. I'm highly organized and adept at time management, setting goals for seamstresses and keeping track of project timelines. My attention to detail enables me to inspect work during the sewing process and after completion to guarantee timely delivery of high-quality products. Starting with industrial sewing for high-end homes and businesses, I became an expert in a variety of fabric shades, such as roman, hobble, stitched, relax roman, balloon, and ballroom shades. Additionally, I have experience creating swags, valances, and cornices and can match fabrics that are no more than 1/8" off from the pattern.
