Remote

Joining an international, dispersed, passionate team, I support the GEN team including the Communications Director, designers, and project managers in executing campaigns and creating a digital presence for GEN International via social media, newsletters, and the website. I work independently as well as within a remote team environment, applying initiative, resourcefulness, and commitment to the ecovillage movement.

Europe And Remote Work

I managed a portfolio of online teaching, curriculum development, writing, as well as project research and development. My passion for travel and adventure launched my remote career. The flexibility of freelance work allowed me to regularly participate in conferences which showcase and enhance transformative social innovations and education practices. I contributed to ensuring the events ran smoothly as well as wrote about the various workshops, for example with Children in Permaculture and the UN Global Festival of Action. Osdorp, Amsterdam

Applied research on the best practices in environmental education facilitation into an almost 100-year-old programme which has evolved over the past century. Initially started to give students access to fresh produce, it now serves the need of engaging children in nature studies, building their 21st-century skills and empowering their contribution to ecological solutions.I support the garden educators with the group 6/7 classes and am developing the staff handbook which will give a wider perspective of the impacts of environmental education and outdoor learning.

Remote

In collaboration with a small team from Ecosystem Restoration Camps, I contribute to research, creation, and development of a half-year online course in Ecosystem Restoration Design. With a global audience, our goal is to increase participants' awareness, knowledge and skills in ecosystem restoration as a practice and feel empowered to create a basic restoration plan for an ecosystem close to their hearts.In particular, my role is to work with expert practitioners to share their experience through the e-learning platform. I also co-developed the learning objectives and format and contributed to applying pedagogical approaches including additional supportive resources.As a facilitator, I guide participants through the course, enabling group interaction and offering support.
