• Ensures compliance of all benefit plans with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations and guidelines, and Harder policies and procedures.• Participates in and/or supports the auditing of employee benefit plans, required reporting, vendor transactions, and leave administration regulations.• In collaboration with other team members, assists with new hire enrollments – including health, vision, dental insurance, 401k, and group life insurance.• Administer and coordinate the open enrollment period, including organizing education webinar and internal communications.• Identifies and recommends process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce manual processes (where possible), resulting in increased employee engagement and satisfaction.• Interprets programs and communicates established company-wide benefit plans and benefit changes that impact coverage, ensuring clear and accessible communication to all teams.Leaves of Absences • Responsible for coordinating paperwork, filing, and timeline management the day-to-day operations of employee leave management (FMLA, OFLA, Paid Leave Oregon, WFLA).• Coordinates communication between all stakeholders, Employees, HR, Health & Safety (if applicable) and Third-party administrator.• Recommends leave absence management system enhancement projects designed to drive process improvement and seamless integration of leave programs/administration.• Tracks data and provides analysis and reporting of metrics regarding leave utilization.• Communicates and consults with employees, supervisors, and managers about the appropriate leave types, entitlements, and other available benefits to determine employee’s eligibility for leave of absence.• Tracks data and provides analysis and reporting of metrics regarding leave utilization.

I started working at this golf course in 2019, and it is the summer job that I come home too after my college terms at GCU are over in April. I have worked many jobs around the golf course such as: cart tech, cashier, and beverage cart operator. As a cart tech, I would clean out, wash, and dry each cart after it had been used by the golfers. This position also requires me to pick up the driving range, maintain the patio and entrance area, as well as making sure the garbages are taken care of. I was promoted to Beverage Cart, and I got to work with the golfers directly on the course, selling drinks, alcohol and food.
